Corrections

When we get something wrong, we correct it in plain sight.

Factual errors. The story gets a correction note at the end, with the date and what changed.

Errors that change the meaning. The correction note goes at the top of the story.

Typos and style. Fixes that do not change the information do not get a note.

Translations. Translation errors are fixed in the English or Spanish version. Once the newsroom reviews a translation, the "Automatic translation" note is removed from the story.

Partners. Errors in partner stories are corrected by the partner. We forward the request.
