Editorial policy

Our commitment is to readers, not to studios, distributors, publishers, partners or advertisers.

Reporting. Information that does not come from an official source is only published once a second, independent source confirms it, or with a clear note that it has not been confirmed yet.

Sources. When a story starts at another outlet, we credit and link to it. Anonymous sources are only used with the approval of the newsroom leadership, when the information is in the public interest and cannot be obtained any other way.

News and opinion. Opinion pieces carry the "Opinion" label and the name of the author. Reviews follow our review policy.

Sponsored content. It always carries the "Sponsored" label and the name of whoever paid for it. Advertisers do not approve, review or change stories.

Spoilers and embargoes. Spoilers stay hidden until the reader chooses to see them. We respect embargoes agreed with press offices.

Partners

Contract. A partner is a news site with a contract to publish on ImagineNews. No contract, no partner.

Who published. A partner story shows the partner name and brand, on the front page and on the story itself. Stories by our newsroom carry the ImagineNews brand.

Responsibility. The content of a partner story is the responsibility of the partner. Correction requests about it are forwarded to them.

Rules. A partner story that does not follow this policy may be removed from ImagineNews.

Conflicts of interest

ImagineNews belongs to Eleven Dragons, which also organizes Imagineland and runs ImagineClub and Social Comics.

Every story or review about Imagineland, ImagineClub, Social Comics or any other Eleven Dragons product says so in the text. Coverage of these brands follows the same rules as any other, and their teams do not approve stories before publication.
