R$282 million: Monet Painting Becomes the Most Expensive Artwork Ever Sold in France

The painting "Iris," created by Claude Monet late in his life, was sold at auction on Thursday (22) for 50 million euros (R$282.5 million) in Paris, becoming the most expensive artwork ever sold in France.
